Hire Your Desire Terms & Conditions Policy
By hiring a garment from Hire Your Desire (ABN 82291487425) you are accepting and agree to the Terms and Conditions as outlined below. The Terms and Conditions are subject to change from time to time without notice. Upon acceptance of the Terms and Conditions, the terms and conditions are irrevocable and can only be amended with written consent by Hire Your Desire by contacting us directly via our Social Media Accounts (Instagram @hireyour_desire or Facebook @hireyourdesireboutique) or via our website.
The garments hired from Hire Your Desire will, at all times, remain absolute property of Hire Your Desire.
Definitions
“we”, “our” and “us” means Hire Your Desire (ABN 82291487425)
“you” and “your” refer to all users for the Hire Your Desire service
Our Social Media Accounts means Instagram (@hireyour_desire) or Facebook (@hireyourdesireboutique)
Hire Fee or Hire Price means hire for four or eight days, shipping to an address specified by you, cleaning etc
Hire Time or Hire Period means four days from the date of delivery or alternatively a period of time discussed and agreed by us. An extended eight day hire can be purchased for each dress on our website upon checkout.
Hire and Payment Terms
Garments are hired through Hire Your Desire directly via our website or social Media Accounts (Instagram or Facebook). To secure your garment you will need to provide the date you require the garment and your address to estimate shipping times or through the booking link on our website. Full payment is required upon hiring a garment via our website or via direct bank transfer (Account Name: Hire Your Desire, BSB: 923-100, Account Number: 310320609). No garment will be shipped without full payment. By hiring a garment and accepting the Terms and Conditions you represent that you are over: 18 years of age, the payee and/or are authorised by the payee to use the chosen method of payment with the purpose of hiring a garment. Pricings are varied depending on the garments Recommended Retail Price (RRP) and is based on a standard hire time of four days (NB: day one is considered the date of attempted delivery of the garment by Australia Post). Extended hire periods are available on all garments at additional cost which can be selected with the 8 day hire option prior to checkout.
Hire Your Desire may ask for photo ID or other forms of identification prior to hiring a garment. Hire Your Desire has the right to refuse hire if we are not satisfied with proof of identification.
Shipping Details
All garments will be express posted through Australia Post. To ensure your garment arrives on time please place your orders with a minimum seven days notice from event date. Hire Your Desire endeavours to have all garments delivered on time, however due to the unpredictable nature of Australia Post there may be times this is not possible. If your garment does not arrive on or before the date of event we will offer you a hire credit or full refund of the Hire Fee at the discretion of Hire Your Desire. If your order for hire is placed less than seven days prior to the desired arrival date, we do not guarantee the garment will arrive on time for your event. In the case of a late hire (i.e. less than seven days from desired delivery date) not arriving on time, a hire credit will be offered (no refund will be offered). If you provide the wrong address and the garment has been posted, you will incur the full Recommended Retail Price (RRP) of the garment less than price paid to hire (unless the dress is returned to sender via Australia post).
Once the delivery of the garment has been made to your specified address, you agree to bear responsibility for the garment. If you are unavailable to receive the garment, Hire Your Desire will not be held responsible for additional shipping delays or any additional shipping charges that may apply.
Pick Ups and Try Ons
Depending on the location of the garment it may be available for pick up and try on occasionally at numerous locations in NSW. Hire Your Desire is legally located at its registered business addresses in Temora and Wollongong NSW. Pick ups and/or try ons can be arranged by direct message to Hire Your Desire via our Social Media Accounts (Instagram @hireyour_desire or Facebook @hireyourdesireboutique).
Returns and Late Fee Policy
Return postage is included in your hire cost, we include an express post bag for you to us. Please place the garment in an express post box by Close of Business (COB) on day four of your hire (unless otherwise discussed prior with Hire Your Desire for a longer hire period). The garment is considered returned from the date the express post shipping tracking number is provided to Hire Your Desire via our Social Media Accounts (Instagram or Facebook) or if not provided, the date we receive the garment. Should we not receive an Australian Post tracking number or the garment before the fifth day of hire, a late fee of $30 per day will be applicable and everyday thereafter until you provide us with the Australian Post tracking number or until we receive the garment. If you are late in returning your garment for any reason please contact Hire Your Desire as soon as possible.
Cleaning Policy
All professional cleaning of the garments are included in the Hire Price. When hiring a garment you agree to make no attempts at cleaning, altering or ironing the garment/s (unless you have permission by Hire Your Desire). Garments will be professionally steamed prior to sending however, during the delivery process the garment may become creased (particularly some material types). If the garment you receive is creased, please steam the garment on a low heat or hang the garment in a steamy bathroom to de-crease. Faulty, Damaged or Lost Garments
If your hire garment is faulty or damaged on arrival in any way, please contact Hire Your Desire immediately and do not wear the garment. Any damage or faults to a hire garment on arrival will be offered a credit or full refund. If you wear the garment even if it is damaged or faulty on arrival we cannot offer a credit or refund.
You agree to treat the garments as you would your own clothing. You agree that you will not attempt to fit into a garment that is too small thereby causing undue stress on the seams or zippers. Please report any damaged garments to Hire Your Desire via our Social Media Accounts (Instagram or Facebook). Hire Your Desire offers free damage insurance to the value of $50 for minor repairs (i.e. lost buttons, zipper repairs, small tears). If the garment’s damage exceeds $50 the you will incur the remainder of the repair cost less the $50 insurance fee. The damage fee is to be paid within 20 days of hire via direct debit (Account Name: Hire Your Desire, BSB: 923-100, Account Number: 310320609).
Any garment beyond reasonable repair (and thus Hire Your Desire is unable to re-hire the garment), will incur a fee at 85% of the RRP of the garment to be paid within 20 days of hire via direct debit (Account Name: Hire Your Desire, BSB: 923-100, Account Number: 310320609).
Garments lost, stolen or not returned will incur a full replacement cost at the RRP of the garment within 20 days of hire via direct debit (Account Name: Hire Your Desire, BSB: 923-100, Account Number: 310320609).
Debt Collection
If you have not paid any fee owed to us regarding the service provided to you, within 20 days as outlined above, the invoices will be passed onto a collection company to pursue the collection.
Sizing or Colour Issues
Sizes may vary depending on the brand of the garment. We endeavour to give you a true representation of the size (i.e. if a size may run smaller or larger). Sizing decided by you, we cannot guarantee a perfect fit each time and do not offer credits or refunds for wrong sizing. The colour of the garment may also appear slightly different in person than as advertised in an online photograph. The choice of garment to hire is at your discretion, we do not guarantee exact colour matches based off online photos and do not offer any credit or refund if you change your mind due to the colour of the garment.
Hiring a Bag
By hiring a bag through our service, you agree to take full responsibility for the care and condition of the item during the rental period. You must ensure that the bag is returned on the agreed-upon date in the same condition it was received, with normal wear and tear expected. Any damages, loss, or failure to return the handbag on time will incur additional charges, which are outlined above. You also agree to comply with all care instructions provided to maintain the quality and integrity of the item throughout the rental period.
Cancellation Policy
Please me mindful that once you have placed your order we are unable to offer any refund or full store credit. If you wish to cancel your hire request more than four-weeks out from your selected date, we offer a 50% store credit. We do not offer store credit if cancelled within four-weeks of your selected date.
Credit notes/gift cards
All credit notes or gift cards issued by Hire Your Desire will be valid for a period of three years from the date specified on credit note or gift card.
Confidentiality
All information provided to Hire Your Desire will remain confidential unless permission is granted i.e. to re-post content on social media (Instagram and Facebook) for marketing purposes. We politely request that any photographs taken while wearing our garments that are posted on social media also include our Social Media Account handles (Instagram @hireyour_desire or Facebook @hireyourdesireboutique.
